TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
